There is no doubt when it comes to the dialogue, insight ,knowledge,levels of knowledge, and the virtues of the holy Ahlulbayt (A), there is no match and equal in their characteristics and signs of greatness. What they practiced from divine positions in the Islamic arenas in all of their situations, indeed was a great and lofty position.
Indeed, it is such a position that no matter what a human being does and tries to elevate his or her status to gain knowledge and insight will never reach, and will never be able to elaborate about his or her status no matter the skills in persuasion.
When we want to come and do justice to the aspects of beliefs , history, manners, and the subjects that relate entirely to Imam al-Sadiq (A) and his contributions during his time and what affect they had after his martyrdom, is not something different from the characteristics , qualities, and objectives of the other Imams in this divine direction.
The legacy of the Ahlulbayt (A) especially the one who was labeled the truthful one just like his grandfather the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) remained an example for the generations to come. In which he was able to follow the footsteps of his grandfathers and pave the way for the completion of the message of Allah (SWT) in which this message was able to continue to wake the conscious of the people, and answer all their doubts and superstitions. The holy houses of the Ahlulbayt (A) specifically the house of Imam al-Sadiq (A), his knowledgeable roles, his divine massive schools, attracted students seeking answers and wanting to gain knowledge and insight, striving in the way of proactive educational and cultural levels to spread the pure religion, and to discipline a generation that is capable of facing the difficulties that would come in the way of humanity in its long journey.
The great teacher Muhammad Sadiq Nash ’at al-Masri; the Professor of Grammar at the University of Cairo, he describes the University of Imam al-Sadiq (A): “It was a massive University attracting waves of Scholars answering their questions, and solving their problems, without looking at their different backgrounds and religions, or their divisions or their goals, and his close disciples were able to gather their lessons into 400 books.
The depth of his thinking, and his choice of actions, and his rooted education, his consistency in his diagnosis and building, all of these components enabled the Holy Ahlulbayt (A) to own the undeniable illuminating proof in regards to the rightful Imamate, and the knowledge based religious Jurist for the benefit of the human being. Indeed the human being is at loss without it. Also ,the structure of administration , from it they were able to place the reality of the Islamic laws, and its valuable ethics on the path to application, the absorption of the problems that the society would face and its Islamic solutions that would be suitable . Despite the time and environment at that time. It was written in the book of ‘ aqeedat al-shia’ : there are a group of the students from Imam al-Sadiq (A) who contributed to the knowledge of Fiqh (Jurisprudence) ,and Kalam (beliefs) they are: Abu Hanifa and Malik the son of Anas who are the founders of the other Islamic schools of thoughts in Jurisprudence. Also Wasil the son of Ata’ was the leader of the Mu’tazilite and Jabir the son of Hayan the famous chemist was from his respected students as well.
