Imam Hassan (A) says: this Quran has lamps of light, meaning that your life that you live in ignorance with what do you enlighten this ignorance?

With the Quran, because the Quran includes lamps of light, see everything that we are seeing when we are seeing each other, we are seeing the beauty that is around us in this place, where is this blessing coming from?

It is from the visible tangible light that we see with our own eyes, this light is apparent and so is it apparent to others, therefore all these are tangible with the visible light .

The same thing goes with the intangible light, for example the words of Allah are intangibles, your general life of iman, and with what do you enlighten it? With the lamps of light,

Where do I find these lamps of light my dear Syed?

Where is this lamp? It was written on the throne of Allah with the color green,

Imam Hussain (A):  “is the lantern of light and the ship of salvation “

Therefore if you want to enlighten your life with lamps, I will tell you that it is this Quran.

Your Imam al-Hassan (A) says that this Quran is light, every verse is a light for you

Therefore we will arrive at how when you read the verse and how you will interact with the Quran.

Our imams teach us , that if I want to interact with this verse how do I react , don’t I just read it like this, fast, don’t let it be your stress that you should just read till the end of the Quran that for example when is it that I am going to complete the recitation of the whole Quran.

I for example flip the pages just to see when I am going to finish the chapter, don’t let this be your stress, No! Let your stress be about what that verse is trying to tell you.

What is this verse trying to tell me? Why is it that Allah will me stand and make me responsible? What have I done that he will ask me? On the Day of Judgment what will he ask me?

He will ask you about 5 things:

    1.       On my youth and where did I spend it?

    2.       Your money what did you spend it on? Where did you get it from and where did you spend it?

    3.  3.  What did you do with your health? Until you were tried with an illness? Some say brother I have become ill now can you pray for me, yes I will however when you had health what did you do with it? When you were awake did you miss prayers? Did you pray? Or you left prayers? Did you pray with contemplation and understanding? Or did you do it in a fast up and down movement way like a beak of a crow? Allah will ask me about my health.

    4.       He will ask me about my wilayat of ahlulbayt, the ones that sacrificed their lives for me and you, what did I do for them? what service did I extend to the ahlulbayt (A) ,

    a.       In the ziyarat of Imam Mahdi we say I will extend to you in my service to you everything that I own, my children , my life , my knowledge, did I contribute these things. “Hold them accountable for they are responsible.

Imam Hassan says: firstly this Quran includes lanterns of light, and a remedy for the chests. What do you cure your chest with?

Sometimes your chest hurts so you go to the doctor, now my chest is burning me so I go to the doctor, however the spiritual chest where do I go with it? For example he is stricken with the disease of doubting, inflicted with the disease of Riya and showing off, inflicted with takkabur and arrogance.

Someone like that where do we take him? As for this physical chest when I die my chest will get buried and that will become the end. However, the chest that I will take with me on the day of judgment,

    When I meet Allah:

    من كان يرجو لقاء الله

This heart I want it to reach Allah safely, peaceful, how can my chest become safe and cured? How do I finish my chest from the diseases?

This takkabur (arrogance), this Riya (showing off), love of this world is the source of every sin.

If you found a scholar who is obedient to this worldly life, so accuse him. The Imam is speaking to me and you and he is saying: you the scholar Allah has given you knowledge for the sake of the people for the sake of the believers, the religion, however be a good believer, god fearing , the people want to guide from you , become the person of the afterlife not of this worldly life.

Don’t say I and I , this I is not for you it for Satan , Satan said I am better than him , the believer (mumin) does not have any “I“ selfishness in him. The believer should be like the dirt, in the holy tradition the believer is the one who is laying on the ground like the dirt.

He is like the dirt for the intensity of his humbleness , if Allah has given you this position of being known as a scholar in front of the people then you should be known as a person who according to the holy tradition: opposing to his desires , in obedience to the commands of his lord.

Syed al-maraashi sweared by Hazrat Bibi Fatima (A), from the day of my puberty until I have not done what my desires wanted of me according to my knowledge.

Whatever my knowledge was this is the amount of work that I used to do.

It is not the unlawful things that I have done (haram), I have not done what my self-desired. For example this cucumber I wanted it I do not eat it, because I should eat for myself not for myself, for this reason they became jurist scholars and leaders for us.

This Quran includes lanterns of light, pay attention to the Quran and see how it can benefit you, and deal with them with respect. Oh you men respect your women and live with the in respect. Live with them in respect or let them go with respect.

The holy Quran always addresses the people and says to deal with people in respect.

We will surely cause him to live a good life

Whoever does good Allah says I will guarantee a good life for him, I will guarantee a good life for you ,

Whoever fixes his afterlife, Allah will fix his worldly life,

Whoever fixes his acts in secret Allah will fix his acts in public

Whoever fixes his relationship with Allah, Allah will fix his relationship with the people
