An haifi Ayatullah Shaik Jafar Tustari a shekara ta 1230 hijiri a birnin Tustar wanda ake kiransa da Shushtar, a farko-farkon rayuwarsa ya raka da babansa Shaik Husaini Wa’izi cikin safararsa zuwa Iraki, sai ya zauna a can garin Kazimiya Nahru Dajala arewacin Bagadaza, ta yanda maida hankali kan darasi a wannan gari, sannan ya daga ya koma birnin Najaf wacce ta kasance babbar cibiyar ilimin Ahlil-baiti, a biranen guda biyu yayi dalibta a hannun manya-manyan malamai, daga cikinsu akwai: Shaik Murtada Ansari, da Shaik Muhammad Hassan Najafi mawallafin littafin (Jawahir Kalam) da Shaik Ali bn Shaik Jafar Kashiful Gida`, hakama yayi dalibta hannun dan’uwansa Shaik Hassan kashiful Gida`, da Shaik Radi Najafi, da Shaik Shariful Ulama’u Mazandarani.
A shekara ta 1255 hijri Shaik Tustari ya dawo mahaifarsa domin yin ayyukan ilimi da zamantakewa a wannan lokaci ya kasance yana da shekara 25, bayan cikin karatun sa a Njafar ya kai ga cimma martabar yin Ijtihad cikin fikhu , a garin Tustari ya kasance babban Marja’i ga mutane cikin bayar da fatawa cikin abinda ya shafe dgaa kaziyoyi da batutuwa, ya gina Husainiya a wannan gari wacce ta zama babbar cibiyar zaman makokin ta’aziyyar Imam Husain ibn Ali (as) kuma mahallin yin tablig da jagorantar sallolin jam’i.
Jan ragamar marja’iyya:
Bayan shekaru daga wanzuwa a Najaf da dalibtarsa a hannun Murtada Ansari da wasunsa da malaman shi’a. Ayatullahi Tustari ya dawo ya zauna a mahaifarsa ta Tustari ya ja ragamar marja’iyyar addini, ya kuma rubuta Risala ilimiyya da harshen farisanci da kunshi mas’aloli ibada da mu’amalat wacce ya sanya mata suna Minhajul Rashad, ya rubuta ta don masu yin taklidi da shi, haka ya assasa Husainiya a wannan gari, sai dai cewa bai zamansa a wannan gari na Tustari bai yi tsayi sosai ba sakamakon wani al’amari da wnanan Husainiya ta fuskanta lamarin da ya sanya shi ya bar garin tareda iyalinsa ya koma birnin Najaf, mawallafin littafin A’ayanul Shi’a ya kawo labarin abinda ya faru ya fadi abinda nassinsa ya kasance kamar haka: lokacin da Kasar Sa’udiya ta nada Hashmatul Daula Nasiril dini Shahi daya daga cikin miyagun mutane sai ya karbi hayar Husainiyar nan da Shaik Jafar Tustari ya gina ta kasance kariya, sai `dan Sarki Nasiril dini Shahi ya bada umarnin kamo shi, yayinda labari ya isa kunnen Shaik Jafar Tustari sai ransa yayi matukar baci ta yaya ma aka baiwa wannan mugun mutum hayar Husainiya daga karshe sai bada umarni da a rufe wannan husainiya, yak washi iyalansa ya koma Najaf ya zauna a can, ya kasance yana da babban matsayi da girma cikin koyarwa da jan limancin sallar jam’i, daga baya sai Sarki ya nemi ya baro Najaf ya taso ya dawo Tustar, yayi kamun kafa da manyan mutane da su roke shi ya dawo Tustar.
Ayatullahi Shaik Jafar Tustari ya kasance daga Nabiga da samun irinsa ya karanta, ya kasance yana da wani irin tasiri mai girma cikin shiriyarwa da jan zukata zuwa ga gaskiya Allah Azza wa Jalla, a can ya wallafa Risalarsa ta fikhu wacce ya budeta da dan gajeran bahasi kan Akidun muslunci, wannan Risala ta shi ta jawo hankulan Fakihai daga jiga-jiga malamai misalin Shaik Ziya’u Iraki da Shaik Abdul-Karim Ha’iri.
Zamansa a Tustar bayan ya dawo ya dau shekaru masu yawa, daga baya sai ya kara zabar yin hijira cikin wani kebantaccen yanayi, ya zauna Najaf matsayin babban malami mai bada darasi da yin wa’azi, ya kasance mutane masu tarin yawa da daliban ilimin addini suna halartar halkar karatuttukansa.
a bayan shekar ata 1302 hijiri ma’ana gabanin barin duniyarsa da kadan yayi safara zuwa Iran yana mai nufin zuwa birnin Kurasan domin ziyartar kabarin tsarkakke Imam Abu Hassan Aliyu bn Musa Arrida (as) cikin hanyarsa ta safara ya sauka a garin Tehran zuwa dan wani kankanin lokaci sakamakon kusantiwar watan Ramadan, wannan lokacin mutanen Tehran sun mutunta shi da tarfa ta malunta, a wannan gari shine wanda ya fara kagorantar sallar jam’i a masallacin Sifahsalar mafi girman masallacin a birnin Tehran, fiye da masallata 40.000 sun kasance suna halartar sallarsa daga mutane daban-daban, sannan ya kasance yana hawan kan mimbari domin yin wa’azi da yin gargadi da jan kunne daga sakace da sako kan kin gujewa bakin munanan ayyuka wadanda suke fara rusa rayuwar musulmai a wancan lokaci, yana mai kira da yin riko da addinin gaskiya.
Wafatinsa:
Bayan ya azurtu da samun damar ziyartar birnin Mashad mai tsarki a watan Shawwal shekara ta 1302 sai ya daura damarar komawa birni Najaf lokacin da isa yankin Kirandi ko kuma Ikranti kusa da iyakar Iraki sai ajali ya riske shi a 20 ga watan Safar shekara ta 1303 hijiri daidai lokacin da akai zaman juyayin tunawa da Arba’in din shahadar Imam Husaini, ko kuma 28 ga watan Safar daidai da tunada da wafatin Manzon Allah (s.a.w).
A wannan lokacin yanada shekaru 73 mutuwarsa ta haifar da babban tasiri cikin zukatan malamai da mutanen gari a Iraki da Iran. Manya-mayan mawaka sun shirya masa wakar jimami da ta’aziya, daga cikinsu akwai Jafar Hulli wanda yayi wafati a shekara ta 1315, an dauki jana’izarsa mai tsarki zuwa Najaf an binne shi a can bayan wani babban rakiya da ya samu zuwa makwancin Imam Sarkin muminai Aliyu bn Abu Dalib (as).

Hakika Shaik Jafar Tustari ya shahara da wasu siffofi da suka tattaru cikinsa, shi Fakihi ne daga ajin farko, gashi kuma mai bada darasu, sannan dalibai masu tarin yawa sunyi karayu a hannunsa, gashi mutum mai son maotsin kawo gyara cikin al’umma, kuma Kadibi kwararra gogagge, mutum mai kyawawan dabi’u mai karfi da dakiya cikin addini da girmama ibadun Allah, mai tarbiyantar da malamai da masu neman ilimi, mawallafi da talifinsa ke shaida kan bayyanar minhajinsa da zurfafawa da gaskiya, kari kan dukkanin wadannan shi mai raya ta’aziyar Imam Husaini (as) da al’amarin Karbala
Wallafe-wallafensa:
1-Kasa’sul Husainiya. Ya rubuta shi da harshen larabci kan hususiyar Husaini bn Aliyu bisa dogaro da riwayoyin shi’a, an tarjama shi zuwa farisanci da yaruka daban-daban.
2-Minhajul Rashad. Risala ce da ta rubuta ta ga masu yin taklidi da shi, ance an tarjama wannan Risala zuwa harshen larabci.
3- Majalisul Buka’i, Risala ce da ya wallafa ta kan Usulul dini.
4- Wajibatul Salat.
5-Fawa’idul Mashahid.
6- Almawa’iz, laccoci ne da muhadarorinsa da aka tattaro su.
