Question:
What is meant by the speech of Imam Khomeini? Don’t ask for a high stage whether it is a financial or a materialistic one?
Answer:
His speech is regarded as one of the highest levels of sincerity , therefore whoever is the one to work sincerely for Allah (SWT), will not ask only for heaven. Heaven has many levels, therefore those who worship Allah (SWT) in fear of his hellfire and that is the worship of the slaves, and those who worship out of greediness for heaven or for the higher levels of material gains that is the worship of the Businessman and that also contains some egoism and the love of the self. While there are those who worship Allah (SWT) out of love and yearning, and thankfulness, and for the reason that they found Allah (SWT) to be the one who deserves to be worshipped, the likes Salman al-Muhammadi (PBUH) and Allah (SWT) is the best of helpers.
