Holy Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) said: “Oh Ali me and you are the fathers of this nation...
Question:
Is there a narration that will lead us to the martyr?
Peace be upon you,
May Allah reward you,
Is there a Saheeh (authentic) narration that is from the holy prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) that points us to the martyr or the one whose nickname of the father of the martyr? Please give us some of your insight, may Allah reward you.
Answer:
In the name of Allah the beneficent the Merciful
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) said: “Oh Ali me and you are the fathers of this nation, and from this nation of martyrs the holy prophet and (Ameer al-momneen) Imam Ali (A) the fathers of the martyrs from Habeel to the martyrs of our time and day, with the awaited Imam al-Mahdi (A) and for this reason we say, “oh Allah grant me martyrdom alongside him (Imam al-Mahdi (A)). And this type of fatherhood is streaming through the whole nation, and so is the awaited Imam of our time he is also the father of the martyrs just like his grandfather and his successor.
